Inexpensive delicious Chinese food

It is a great value as far as Chinese food goes. For $7 or do you can get a good amount of ham fried rice, an egg roll, and an entree - that's pretty good! They are insanely fast. On my last visit, I called in my order just down the street. I had paid and was walking out with my food 7 minutes later.To be clear though, you could probably order the General Tao's chicken, the Hot and Spicy chicken, and the Sesame Seed chicken and not be able to tell the difference between any of them. The food is fairly bland and not at all spicy. I throw on the sky sauce and crushed red pepper to help it along.But like I said, it isn't priced like the Mandarin and it didn't taste like it either. It's good for what it is though - quick and cheap Chinese food. A way better alternative to something like Panda Express.

Always great service and awesome food

My favorite Chinese place within a 25 mile radius. The food is amazing and the staff is so friendly! I’ve been going here for the last 10+ years.

We had a feast tonight. Our family favorites are General Tso's, Lemon Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Sesame Chicken and Chicken with Orange Sauce. So very good and with large portions. Their service is great and the owners are so nice and friendly.

We ordered the chicken lo mein, pepper onion steak, and sesame chicken. Sesame chicken: pretty good. Chicken lo mein: good but not great. Pepper onion steak: not good. Bell pepper and onion we undercooked. I like crisp veggies, but I expected cooked veggies not raw. And the beef was chewy.This was a takeout order and no soy sauce.Overall - Very underwhelming flavor.

Average food, reasonably priced, was busy so took longer to be served than I expected. Tables were still dirty and needed to be cleaned off between customers. Family atmosphere there.

Went back to Empire again tonight. The food is so good and the service is fantastic! It’s been years since I’ve been there (moved away) but they still remember me and what I like to order! The cashew shrimp is my favorite - so good! We also had sesame chicken and we love their lo mein in any option. It’s all good. It’s all fast. It’s all priced incredibly well for what you get. I feel like family when I go to the Empire!

We arrived at this place for dinner. we heard about this restaurant from many people. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff were very polite and we felt very good. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. we highly recommend this place.

Really good food! I've been looking for a good chinese food place since I moved in this area. This is the best one I've tried so far! I got sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, and cream cheese wontons. I got a pretty good amount of food! I only had room enough to try the sesame and wontons, but they were absolutely fantastic! I'm saving the chicken fried rice for later.

I just ordered cashew and shrimp. Get to my destination and there's no fork or spoon and napkins. And they laughed at me. I brought back the food and didn't even get a full refund. Not even nothing for my travels or an offer to make the food over bc it was cold.

Would go more than 5 stars if I could. Husband comes enough that he has tried everything on the menu. Great prices, fresh, hot, amazing food. Friendly service, too. They will go above and beyond to make your meal just right. I just had honey walnut shrimp with cashews instead of walnuts. Incredible!!!

Best Chinese food in Davis county.

Our family loves eating here! Whether it's takeout for a big family party at the house, lunch for one, or a night out with the immediate family, Empire always his the spot. We get orange chicken, chicken lo mein, tempura shrimp, ham or shrimp fried rice, and general tso's. The strip mall location can be deceiving, but this is some of my favorite Chinese food.

I love this place. You can't go wrong when you order your food here. When I am sick or recovering from surgery this is definite a must.

This food is pretty good, better than other places I've ate at in Salt Lake. I tried the walnut shrimp for the first time after reading a review on it, it was delicious! The lo mein is also better than other places, and the egg roles are small, but yummy. My only complaint is that either they don't give you a lot of food for what you pay for, or they shorted me on stuff (which I think they did. I think I was supposed to get more rice boxes, and 1 more egg roll)...so check your order before you leave, just to make sure. I paid $34 for what I was told would serve 8 or more people, but it actually was only enough for 4.

Kung po chicken was relatively flavorless and dry. Drive over to Boba World for much better Chinese food.

We ate here yesterday, and the food was delicious! We live in Smithfield and just happened to come here for lunch. The people are so nice and we will be back. Yum!

If you're looking for hot and spicy, Empire is not for you, but the typical cantonese cuisine is served up fresh and savory. The Mai Fun here is among the best. Empire Chineese is better than ever in it's new location, just two doors down from the original spot. Along with a new view comes new fixtures and furniture but the recipies are unchanged and as delicious as ever.
